In the late 1970s, at the age of 13, as a young girl named Little Moon, I ventured from Vietnam to France. After two decades of professional life in France, my husband and I decided to revisit my homeland and explore beyond my village. Our journey through the Vietnamese countryside inspired us to establish a fair trade model showcasing the traditional craftsmanship of Vietnamese artisans in France. This vision led to the creation of bibol, a brand dedicated to eco-friendly bamboo products.

Growing up working in the fields since the age of 8, I witnessed the hardships faced by children and the community, igniting my passion for change. Since 2007, we have ethically developed bamboo bowl production, ensuring fair wages for artisans, eco-friendly practices without solvents, and reduced CO2 emissions. Recognized for our commitment, in 2018, I received a certificate from the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs of VietNam for our efforts in child protection.

Bamboo, deeply rooted in Vietnamese culture, holds significant value in gastronomy, architecture, and various traditional practices. Despite the encroachment of plastic and concrete, bamboo stands out for its versatility, strength, rapid growth, and eco-friendly properties. Preserving the use of bamboo is crucial for upholding cultural heritage and sustaining environmental balance.

If you would like the option to return an item, please request a Return Authorization (RA) number within 10 days of receiving your order. Any defect or non-conformity of the goods ordered must be reported to us within 48 hours of the date Buyer receives goods. No claim may be made or return approved beyond that time limit. No returns will be accepted without our prior agreement. You may request an RA number by emailing with your order number and the reason for your return. Your item must be returned within 5 days of receiving your RA number. We will accept merchandise with their original packaging. All returns and exchanges must be new and unused, unaltered, free from odor and dirt, and in its original item packaging with the company hang tags still attached. In the event that an item(s) does not meet the Return & Exchange Policy requirements, the item(s) will be sent back to you and additional shipping charges will apply. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Approved returns are at your expense. Refunds may only be issued in the same form as payment.
